We have some exciting news to share regarding the growth of TOTYM beyond Kickstarter. Over the past several months we have been working on preparing our products for retail distribution, and we are beginning to see those efforts pay off.
Books-A-Million Expansion
TOTYM products are continuing to expand within Books-A-Million, with placements now reaching additional locations across the United States from the growing roll-out. Our contacts at BAM! have been amazing to work with, and are scaling up the number of TOTYM products being stocked around the country.
FYE Store Rollout
We have also received an order from FYE, which will introduce TOTYM products into 20 FYE locations across the country as an initial test run with hopefully a wider roll-out following that. This is another exciting step as we continue expanding into new retail environments.
At the moment, these retail orders are focused on the plush products, but we have been preparing the trading card game products for retail as well.
Seeing TOTYM appear in more stores is a great step forward for the brand and helps introduce the universe to a much wider audience. Availability varies by location, so if you have a nearby Books-A-Million or FYE, feel free to check with them to see if they are carrying TOTYM products yet.
Retail-Ready TCG Packaging
The starter decks and booster boxes are currently in the packaging stage after completing printing. These products have been designed with retail distribution in mind.
Starter decks are sealed and retail-ready. We can also provide attachable hang hooks for stores that want to display them on peg walls. All products include UPC barcodes, and the booster boxes and the individual booster packs inside them each have their own UPC codes. This allows stores to track booster boxes separately from individual packs if they choose.
With packaging finalized, the trading card game is ready to expand into retail stores as well.
